He's best known for being a founding member of Lynyrd Skynyrd and his amazing guitar solos
But did you know he also has an incredible sense of humor? I recently heard some funny stories about him that had me laughing out loud! For example, one time he was asked what it felt like to be part of such an iconic band and he replied “It’s like being in jail with the key thrown away” 🤣😂 He also loves to joke around on stage during performances
During one show, someone yelled out “Freebird!” and without missing a beat, Gary responded “No way man, that song costs money now!” 💰🎸 The best part is that even though Gary is over 70 years old now, he still has the same sense of humor as when he was younger
